Reba McEntire and Rex Linn: The Sweet Love Story of the Country Queen and the Talented Actor
From a fateful meeting on a film set in 1991 to a romantic relationship admired by many, the love story of Reba McEntire and Rex Linn proves that destiny can arrive when you least expect it.
Their connection began over 30 years ago, when they both starred in Kenny Rogers’ TV movie “The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw.” Although they kept in touch over the years, it wasn’t until early 2020 that their friendship blossomed into romance, right when the world was immersed in the pandemic.
“When I’m with Rex, I feel like I’ve found my perfect other half,” Reba shared ahead of the 2025 ACM Awards, where she continues to shine as host for the 18th time. “We get along in every way. He’s a better cook than I am, and we both love the cowboy lifestyle, love art and entertainment.”
