Michael Bublé Celebrates Back-to-Back Wins on The Voice — and Forms an Unexpected Bromance With Chase Stokes

Season 27 of The Voice came to a heartwarming close with a double dose of victory and friendship. Michael Bublé not only secured his second consecutive win as a Coach — thanks to standout Artist Adam David — but also walked away with a new bond that fans didn’t see coming: a budding bromance with Outer Banks star Chase Stokes, boyfriend of fellow Coach Kelsea Ballerini.

In a behind-the-scenes Instagram Story posted on May 21, Bublé captured the emotional goodbyes following the finale. The crooner, beaming with pride and gratitude, hugged Ballerini and then turned to Stokes with a heartfelt message: “Seriously, you guys: You aren’t getting away from me.”

Stokes responded with warmth, “I don’t think we had any plans to,” prompting Bublé to say with a grin, “OK good, I love you.” Fans quickly declared the moment peak bromance energy.

Bublé even captioned the clip: “When Chase Stokes becomes your emotional support system,” followed by, “You guys aren’t getting away from me.” Clearly, this is one friendship that’s sticking around.

Although Ballerini will not be returning for Season 28, Bublé is locked in for another round as he sets his sights on a historic third win. Could Stokes and Ballerini return as guest mentors? Only time will tell.

The duo’s romance has captured hearts since early 2023, and their support for one another is unwavering. In a 2024 People interview, Stokes gushed about Ballerini’s sincerity: “She has time for everybody… When you are with that human, you know you are getting her.”

As for Bublé and his winning streak, his mentorship was instrumental in David’s rise. He revealed that his advice went beyond singing tips. “I’d call him and say, ‘Stop gigging for a bit — your voice needs rest,’” Bublé said, referring to David’s nightly bar performances. “He’s a real musician who put in the work. When the opportunity came, he was more than ready.”

With a second trophy in hand, a new season on the horizon, and a few more friends in his corner, Michael Bublé is hitting all the right notes — both on and off the stage.
