Luke Combs Dedicates Time to his Family

From opening a bar, Category 10,  to headlining Stagecoach, the country music festival in California, the country-music singer hasn’t slowed down. However, the singer shared he is taking a step back to focus on his family.

In the interview with People magazine, Combs shared he plans on dedicating time to his family and has a few performances planned for the year.

“We’re only doing festivals this year,” Combs told People magazine. “We got 20-something shows this year. I’ve already done 10 of them. I got 14 more shows for the rest of the whole year. I want to be home with my kids. I want to see my kids grow up and I want them to know that they’re important to me.”

On May 2, Combs took on his social media platforms to share the official music video for “Backup Plan”, Bailey Zimmerman’s song featuring Combs, was released.

Support quickly built up on the comments section as fans expressed their excitement.

“How does it feel to drop the best song of the summer?!” one fan wrote.

Another person commented “OMG! Best surprise ever! My 6-year-old and I have been listening to this song all day.”

The music video showcases Zimmerman and Combs dominating the Stagecoach stage.

“I was on tour in Australia in January, and it was a whole lot of fun,” Combs told the Stagecoach crowd in the beginning of the music video. “We enjoyed the hell out of it, and I got a text message from a number that I didn’t have saved into my phone. It was like an MP3 of a song. And it was like, ‘Hey, man, will you do this song with me? Do this song together. And then I realized, as I listened to it, who it was, and now we’re doing this song together, and this gentleman is going to come out on stage with me tonight. His name is Bailey Zimmerman. We got a song coming out together. Real, real soon. And y’all we’re filming a music video right now.”
