On May 20-21, the jury was shown dozens of the roughly 500 photos documenting the raid on Diddy’s mansion during his federal trial in Manhattan for sex trafficking and illegal profiteering.

At times, Diddy sat with his head in his hands as Homeland Security agent Gerard Gannon testified about the March 24, 2024 search—just months before the rap mogul’s arrest.

Gerard Gannon, a member of the Homeland Security human trafficking investigation team, said he took part in the raid with 80-90 agents, using armored vehicles to break through the gates and search Diddy’s Miami Beach (Florida) mansion.

According to Gerard Gannon, the evidence photos offered a clear glimpse into Diddy’s depraved personal life. Among the items found were numerous dildos, women’s lingerie, containers holding 25 bottles of baby oil, and 30 bottles of lubricant…

They also discovered parts of an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle in the master bedroom closet, ammunition, and a handgun.

Agent Gerard Gannon testified that the task force found large quantities of drugs, including MDMA (ecstasy), cocaine, and ketamine.

Sex toys and numerous high heels were found in Diddy’s home.

In court, prosecutors presented images from Diddy’s Manhattan hotel room after federal agents arrested the rapper in September 2024.

Agent Yasin Binda testified that items including many bottles of baby oil and lubricant, two bags containing ecstasy and ketamine, were likely prepared for one of Diddy’s infamous “freak-off” parties—wild, drug-fueled events.

The prosecution also called witness George Kaplan, 34, a former Diddy employee, to testify on May 21. George served as executive assistant at Combs Enterprises from December 2013 to December 2015, working 80 to 100 hours per week.

The former assistant testified that he booked rooms for Diddy at luxury hotels under aliases, packed the rapper’s luggage for hotel stays—including clothes, speakers, candles, alcohol, baby oil, and lubricants—and was once ordered by his boss to buy ecstasy. After the parties, George was responsible for cleaning up.

Another former personal assistant, David James, testified on May 20 that he “feared for his life” after being made to drive Diddy, who was carrying three guns, to confront long-time rival Suge Knight, former CEO of Death Row Records, in 2008.

After the incident, David quit.

Messages written on Diddy’s bathroom mirror read “You are a legend,” “You are an icon Puff Daddy.”

The federal investigation began after Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, filed a lawsuit in November 2023, accusing the rapper of abusing her for years and forcing her to participate in hundreds of sex parties called “freak-offs” with Diddy and male sex workers. The lawsuit was later settled for $20 million.

Prosecutors allege Diddy ran a “criminal enterprise” for more than a decade with the help of staff, exploiting his fame and wealth to control Cassie and other women, coercing them into sex with male sex workers through threats, manipulation, and violence.

Prosecutors also accuse Diddy and accomplices of various other crimes, including forced labor, kidnapping, bribery, drug offenses, and obstruction of justice.

Diddy, 55, has pleaded not guilty. If convicted of sex trafficking and illegal profiteering, he could face life in prison.

Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, is one of the most famous producers and performers in hip-hop, a three-time Grammy winner. He founded Bad Boy Records, the Sean John fashion line, a vodka brand, and the Revolt TV network.

According to Forbes, Diddy’s net worth reached about $1 billion in 2022, but dropped to over $700 million in 2023 and down to $400 million in 2024.
