50 Cent Keeps the Heat on Joe Budden with More Trolling After Knicks Game Encounter

The tension between 50 Cent and Joe Budden isn’t cooling down anytime soon—and their recent encounter at a Knicks game only added fuel to the fire.

What began as an online spat earlier this year has morphed into an ongoing saga of shade-throwing, trolling, and viral moments. It all started when 50 Cent made a controversial post following the death of music mogul Irv Gotti, mocking him in a final online jab. Joe Budden, never one to hold back, called the move heartless and even went so far as to say the rapper-turned-mogul might need therapy.

“Hip-hop is the new meaning for ‘I need therapy,’” Budden said on his podcast. “50 Cent needs therapy. Kanye needs therapy. I don’t care if you agree with the rationale—50 is gonna stand strong in it.”

And stand strong he did. In classic 50 fashion, he clapped back with a wildly inappropriate AI-generated image of Budden sleepwalking naked—a nod to Budden’s bizarre 2024 legal incident involving a sleepwalking episode caught on a neighbor’s security camera.

Fast-forward to May 2025: both men found themselves at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks vs. Pistons game. Despite their very public feud, the two were seated just rows apart and were even spotted exchanging words—surprisingly civil ones. But if fans were hoping that meant a truce was on the horizon, they were sorely mistaken.

Not long after, 50 Cent posted (then quickly deleted) a video of Budden waiting on a sidewalk for his ride. “See Joe… DAMN THEY TAKING TOO LONG TO PICK YOU UP BRO!” he wrote. “Terror Squad you dead, leave Joe & Jada alone! That ain’t gonna cut it!” The post, captured by What’s Da Bizzness on X, made the rounds online before disappearing.

The beef continues to blur the line between real-life tension and performance art, but one thing’s certain: 50 Cent hasn’t lost his knack for trolling, and Joe Budden isn’t backing down anytime soon.

Stay tuned—because if history’s any guide, the next jab might be just a post away.
